Our team of solicitors have over 30 years’ experience representing clients of all backgrounds in all family and child law matters
I am a Trainee Solicitor at Milner Elledge, working primarily on cases involving children and domestic abuse.
I understand that clients often come to us at an extremely difficult and uncertain point in their lives. I aim to approach every case with empathy, patience and care, while also providing clear and practical guidance so that clients understand the legal process, the options available to them and what to expect as their case progresses. I particularly value the opportunity to help clients feel heard and supported while working towards a safe and stable outcome for them and their children.
Before joining Milner Elledge, I worked in litigation at Foley Hoag LLP in Boston, where I supported a large and complex caseload across multiple US jurisdictions. My work involved drafting court documents, analysing evidence, conducting legal research and coordinating closely with clients, counsel and other professionals. That experience taught me the importance of careful preparation, attention to detail and keeping clients informed, particularly where proceedings are complex or fast-moving.
I studied Criminology at the University of Cambridge, where my research focused on victims, harm and the role of individuals affected by the justice system. I previously studied Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought at Amherst College in the United States and subsequently completed my legal studies in England at BPP University. My academic background has given me a particular interest in how the law affects people experiencing vulnerability, conflict and significant changes within their families.
At Milner Elledge, I assist clients in Children Act and Family Law Act proceedings, including cases involving child arrangements and domestic abuse. I help prepare applications and statements, obtain and review evidence and disclosure, liaise with counsel and other professionals, and prepare cases for court. I enjoy working closely with clients throughout this process and am committed to approaching each case with sensitivity, thoroughness and a clear understanding of what matters most to the individual and their family.
